You know earlier when I used to be upset, I used to watch 'Friends', like an entire season together till I got happy again.  This time I didn't need to do that....I just came home to my hommies and found all the love, strength, support and so much more that only a family can give...you made me cry,  you made me laugh and gave me a countless reasons to smile, celebrate and be happy again...thanks so much from the very bottom to the very top  of my heart....love you all and thank you all, for being uniquely you, just the way you are....

Hey Hommies,

Wassup?Man its been hectic lately... DMG, Jhalak and just shooting and rehearsals. You guys don't believe me? I know you do Shradha has been sharing your comments with me and have to say - Love you all for all the support and feedback!

So yeah today I thought why don't I take you behind the scenes... show you how a day is for me! Wanna travel into my life for a day?Hop on board and lets begin....

Date: May 19, 2009

	10: 45 AM Going to DMG shooting! Seems like a nice day out but REALLY hot! Wondering when the monsoons will start... love da rain
	There's my dabba with me... since time is such an issue I eat on the go....
	11:30 AM I meet Jakes as Ienter the sets (always happy to see him )
	Greeting our crew....
	Mixin up my proteins dude!This will keep megoing and give me a boost in the day when I need it.
	11: 45 AM Getting ready for shoot... My beloved chappals gone  as I transition from Karan to Dr. Armaan. How's the black - kind of nice isn't?
	And here's Mayank Anand Dr. Rahoool for you and a great frined for me and Shradha
	Mayank and Jake - the two pillars of my life who are always by my side and even cheer me on while I perform
	12 PM Its make up time - yeah if you thought only gals put on makeup, that's not true . But hey I don't mind.Gotta look the character!
	12: 15 PM Here comes Sanjeet - a gem of a friend who kinda played cupid for me and Shradha
	Here's our main camera man Pappu Da whom I have great respect for....
	12:30 PM Here we are on the DMG sets preparing for the shoot. They're explaining the scenes as I look through the dialogues....
	Memorizing the dialogues... Come on Karan you can do it - gotta remember my lines
	Fixin up the mike- that's how you hear our dialogues!
	1:15 PM And the shoot begins....
	3:00 PM Exhausted man... taking a few seconds breather between the shots....
	Talking to Jhalak team on DMG sets as we discuss the costumes, choreography and concept....
	Next scene begins as Jen and I start memorizing our lines... Gotta remember so much... If you complain about exams, wait till you see our dialogues
	3:30PM   We transform into the Dr. Armaan and Dr. Ridhima you see on screen romancing away....
	Watch how we reallllly shoot romantic scenes
	There's Nisar our DMG director positioning the camera as we rehearse. Today there is a whole team of directors but its nice to have had him from the start....
	6:00PM   Its now media time as photographers and media hit the sets... gotta smile, giveinterviews and answer all their questions....
	6:45 PM Am hungry so taking a break and just having something as the next scene is getting discussed.... Yeah this could be called my lunch
	7 PM Here's the energetic Drashti who you all love as Dr. Muskaan. Let me tell you a little secret about her... she is actually Miss. Congeniality who is capable of tripping on a completely clear smooth floor on her own or worse still, is capable of missing the chair while trying to sit all by herself with no provocation from anyone at all
	And now I meet and greet Pankit who you all have seen me bond with on screen as Dr. Atul. He is funny man... Great guy!
	Till 10:30 PM More DMG shoot continues as we keep running through em scenes.... Now with Ayaz my dear friend and your Dr. Shubhankar, he has to be the funniest person you ever met... Our scenes take forever cos we cant help cracking up every few seconds
	11 PM Making my way over to Jhalak house as I talk to Shradha and catch up on how her day was... Do I look tired?A lot more of my day or should I say night is still left so hang on board!
	12:30 AM Here we are as the rehearsals begin and we start practicing... The guy in black here is Connie, who assists Nicole and has helped me a lot, he is just amazing!
	Here comes Nicole telling me rehearse Singh rehearse!!
	In full view on all the walls are the famous Jhalak cameras... Whoever said that we are secretly monitored
	1:30 AM Rehearsing with Prachi Desai for an upcoming act where I will be dancing with her.
	3:00 AM We gotta learn how to operate these hankies and dance with em... Man motorcycles, roller blades, blind folds, and now hankies... Jhalak really has added lots of props  to my life

You looking for more pics... I'm sorry the photographer couldn't keep up with my day... so he went home to his cosy bed (lucky him!!!!!) well me? I continue to rehearse till I get my steps else I wont be able to sleep.. which usually happens till around 5 AM if not later! So dinner usually happens around 6 AM or is that breakfast? I'm confused Then I catch some sleep.

And incase you are wondering where is my lady, Shradha... Well, she is at home sleeping for a change... She has strict orders from me to not keep up any more long nights with me at rehearsals because she has been really unwell lately.

Tomorrow is another long day... similar to the one you witnessed... Hope you enjoyed staying with me for the day.. and night...
